Team SOP - Gear Medical

Civilian focused IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit).

The context of IFAK usage is very different for the average civilian than it is for a soldier operating with the logistics of a large military. These differences in need should be reflected in the supplies carried and the SOP regarding carry and usage.

IFAKs should be accessible with both hands and feature a removable insert/body. Supplies inside the pouch should be secured to prevent a "yardsale" type mess.

IFAK Location

  • Fanny Pack should be 6 to 8 o'clock
  • On war/battle/gun belt (6 o'clock)
  • On plate carrier (ferro one roll or chinesium equivalent)
  • On chest rig (front right)
