Training - Basic Radio Functions
Below are the common features/functions that every prepared citizen should have practice with performing on their particular radio.

| Mode Selection | Switch between FM, AM, or digital modes |
| Monitor Function | Listen for weak signals by disabling squelch |

| PTT (Push-to-Talk) | Activate the microphone to transmit |
| RX/TX Light | Enable/disable screen light coming on when RX/TX |
