Training - CQB Training Scenario 2: Office Break-In - Corner-Fed Office with Hallway Approach
Objective
Clear a corner-fed office room after navigating a hallway, neutralize a threat, and treat a casualty with a gunshot wound.
Setup
A hallway leads to a corner-fed office room (door at the corner of a wall). One threat is inside, armed. A casualty is in the room, with a simulated gunshot wound to an arm/leg.
Execution
Team moves down the hallway, which should be wide enough in an office setting to move in a line, default to cross coverage. At the corner-fed door, 1-man pies the room, communicating observations (e.g., “Threat center, casualty left!”). 2-man covers the hallway.
Team makes entry, engaging the threat if necessary, using verbal commands (e.g., “Hands up!”) before firing.
Apply MARCH/TCCC to casualty. Team simulates calling 911 and secures the area.
