Training - CQB Training Scenario 3: Public Space Attack - Two-Room Suite with Hallway
Objective
Clear a two-room public space (e.g., café or store) with a hallway transition, neutralize threats, and treat a casualty with an arm wound.
Setup
A hallway (10–15 feet) leads to Room 1 (center-fed, e.g., café seating area). Room 1 connects to Room 2 (corner-fed, e.g., back office) via another door. Room 1 has one threat (mannequin or role-player, armed). Room 2 has a casualty (role-player or mannequin) with a severe arm wound (arterial bleeding). Optional: one non-threat (civilian) in Room 1.
Execution
Hallway Movement
Team moves down the hallway to reach the doorway for Room 1.
Room 1 Entry
Team enters the center-fed Room 1, identifies and neutralizes the threat, and addresses any non-threats (e.g., direct civilians to safety with “Stay down!”).
Transition
Team clears Room 1, stack on the corner-fed door to Room 2, and pie the door.
Room 2 Entry
Team enters Room 2, clears it (no threats), and locates the casualty. 1-man applies a tourniquet to the arm wound, while 2-man2 secures the room. 1-man checks airway, respiration, and circulation, then covers the casualty.
Completion
Team simulates calling 911, maintaining security until help arrives.
